WHAT IS GLOBAL INTERN
FOR STARTUPS?

20 startups are looking for international talent willing to join their journey in going global. This is a paid winter internship program. Working conditions may differ by company.
Job posts and company information can be found exclusively on K-campus, a one-stop platform that provides everything international students need to adapt to student life in Korea.
The program also offers an offline company briefing session and visa counseling sessions to make sure you can successfully build your career in Korea!

WHO WE ARE
LOOKING FOR

Positions open: Overseas marketing, global business planning, global business operations,
IT/development, design, overseas sales etc.

Minimum requirements: •
Non-Korean national fluent in either Korean or English; •
Current student or graduate from a Korean university at bachelor’s, master’s or Ph.D level or an F-type visa holder; •
Non-Korean national without any grounds of disqualification for overseas travel; •
Residing in Korea during the contracted work period
(Situations may differ based on contracts with each startup)

PROGRAM DETAILS

Benefits: •

Free pass to use remote working spaces provided by d.camp in Seolleung, Mapo and Busan; •
Welcome kit and onboarding sessions; •
Networking events for all hired interns through this program (once per month)

How to apply: •
Choose up to three startups you want to apply to (you can apply to up to three positions per company); •
Submit your applications through K-campus; •
After submitting your application, schedules for interview sessions
and final assessment can vary by each startup

Employment type: Type A: Up to two months working on a specific project; Type B: Three months or longer with the possibility of further employment after the internship is over

FAQ

Do I have to be a student at a Korean university to apply? You need to be currently enrolled at a Korean university or have graduated and obtained a D-10 (job seeker visa) in order to apply. If you already have an F-type visa, you may also apply even if you have not graduated from a Korean university. Please consult with our program partner Hirevisa on other visa-related issues.
Can I apply to multiple positions from one startup? Yes, you may apply to up to three different startups and you may apply to three positions within the three startups you are applying to. Please make sure you explain in your resume or portfolio why you qualify for the different positions you applied for.
Can I modify my submission after sending it? You cannot modify your application after submitting. Please prepare your files and documents early enough so that you have enough time to go through your application before you submit.
Is there a set resume template for the application? No, there is no set template, but if you wish to use a template offered by K-campus, please visit this link to see the example and download.
Can I submit multiple files for my resume or portfolio? Yes. Please submit all of your files in a Google Drive or Notion folder and share the link in the application.
Please ensure that everyone accessing the Google Drive or Notion link has permission to view the files when managing the sharing settings for your link.
Do I have to attend the offline company briefing session with companies in Nov. 1? Your attendance is not mandatory but participation is highly recommended as you will be able to talk to the CEOs or employees of the startups you have applied for. It will be a good chance to see if it feels like a good fit.

Will I be able to take leave in winter if I have existing vacation plans? This program aims to hire people who can start working from December, after the fall semester ends. Although working schedules and contract terms may differ by startup you are applying for, you need to be available for the full length of your contract to take part in this program.
Will I be notified even if I am not hired? You will get an email about the final result even if you have not been hired.
