So, you’ve just settled at Inha University.

You have no idea where anything is, and in a foreign neighborhood, you’re feeling like you’re back to zero exploring this unknown terrain.

Let’s guide you through your essentials!

“I need to buy a blanket and home products, but I have no clue where to get them.”

1. HomePlus

On the very first day I arrived, the most important items I needed were a blanket and a pillow. Thankfully, less than 20 minutes away from the Inha University 2nd Dormitory, there was a HomePlus Branch that could be reached just by walking!

HomePlus contains several cafes, clothing stores, as well as shops to buy bedsheets and all those sleep essentials. There is also a DAISO store on the first floor, and the basement floor sells groceries!

HomePlus was my superhero for the first week navigating life here.

“What about making a Bank Account?”

2. HANA Bank

There is a HANA Bank Branch located comfortably right on campus. It is in the Biryong Plaza, near the lake of Inha University, and you can see the bank’s store sign very clearly once you get there.

One thing to note is that the bank opens from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. only on weekdays, so make sure not to get there too late!

“I’m needing some study essentials; Where can I get notebooks and pens?”

3. INHA Book Store

You could go here right after your visit to HANA Bank, because it’s situated on the floor right below the bank. Here, they sell textbooks, notebooks, pens and pencils galore.
