As a student on a budget, I’m always on the lookout for meals that are not only tasty but also portable and affordable. One of my go-to recipes is this Tuna Wrap, which is perfect for lunch on the go or even a quick dinner. The best part? You can grab everything you need at GS25!

This recipe is super versatile. You can adjust the ingredients depending on what’s available or add extras to suit your taste. Plus, it's light but filling, which is exactly what I need between classes.

Ingredients (All available at GS25!)

  • Tortilla wraps (If you can't find these at GS25, substitute with bread or a rice ball on the side)
  • YOUUS Canned Tuna (available in various flavors)
  • Salad mix (GS25 pre-packed salad)
  • YOUUS Pickles (adds a nice crunch)
  • Canned corn or any available veggies
  • Mayo or dressing (whatever you like, GS25 has several options)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the tuna mix: Open the YOUUS canned tuna and drain any excess liquid. In a bowl, mix the tuna with a spoonful of mayo (or any dressing of your choice). You can also add a little mustard or hot sauce if you like extra flavor.
  2. Assemble the wrap: Lay out the tortilla (or bread if tortillas aren’t available). Spread the tuna mixture evenly in the center. Add a generous handful of the salad mix on top of the tuna.
  3. Add veggies: Sprinkle some canned corn or any other veggies you prefer. Pickles are a great addition too — they add a nice crunch and tangy flavor.
  4. Wrap it up: Fold the tortilla from the sides, then roll it up tightly from the bottom, burrito-style. Make sure it’s secure so that it doesn’t fall apart when you’re ready to eat.
  5. Pack and store: If you're meal prepping for the week, wrap each tuna wrap tightly in foil or cling wrap and store them in the fridge. They’ll stay fresh for a couple of days, and you can grab one anytime you need a quick meal!
