Hi everyone! 🌍🍴

As an international student living in Korea, finding a balance between eating well can be tough, especially when you are missing exotic flavors. But I’ve discovered that you can still enjoy flavors from around the world by using simple ingredients from GS25, Korea’s popular convenience store! Today, I’m sharing two of my favorite meal prep ideas that bring a taste of Mexico and Italy right into your Korean kitchen — all while keeping things affordable and easy.

Let’s dive into these two exciting recipes: Mexican-Inspired Burrito Bowls and Korean-Italian Fusion Pasta Salad. Both are quick to make, packed with flavor, and perfect for prepping meals for the week!

🌯 Mexican-Inspired Burrito Bowls 🌯

Who doesn’t love the vibrant and bold flavors of Mexican food? Burrito bowls are a great way to enjoy all the goodness of a burrito, minus the mess, and they’re super easy to prepare using GS25 ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • 햇반
  • Canned Corn
  • YOUUS Spicy Chicken or Sausage
  • YOUUS Salsa Sauce (or hot sauce as a substitute)
  • Grated cheese / Black olive (optional)
  • Fresh Salad Mix

Instructions:

  1. Heat the rice: Prepare YOUUS Instant Rice and spread it in your meal prep container.
  2. Add the protein: Cut up some Spicy Chicken or Sausage and layer it on top of the rice.
  3. Toss in the veggies: Sprinkle Canned Corn and add some fresh Salad Mix for a bit of crunch and freshness.
  4. Top with salsa: Drizzle YOUUS Salsa Sauce over everything (you can substitute with your favorite hot sauce for extra spice).
  5. Optional cheese: If you want, add a sprinkle of grated cheese for extra richness.

These burrito bowls are perfect for busy days when you want something hearty, flavorful, and satisfying. Just grab one from the fridge, heat it up, and you’ve got a delicious, healthy meal ready to go! 🌶
