Based on my own experience, I want to share some insights that I hope it might help you guys. Each person’s application journey is different, so take this as a reference rather than a strict guide. The application process can seem overwhelming at first, but if you break it down step by step, it becomes much easier. The key is to start early, stay organized, and make sure you understand the requirements.
If you're considering studying in Korea, you may have come across the term 'SeoYeonKo SeoSungHan JungGyeongWeSi' (서연고 서성한 중경외시), which refers to some of the country's top universities. Within this, 'Seo Sung Han' includes Sogang University, Sungkyunkwan University, and Hanyang University, all known for their strong academic programs. Sogang University, in particular, is recognized for its rigorous academics and competitive admissions. Because of that, I was really worried when I decided to apply to Sogang. However, I realized that if you don't try, you'll never know what you can achieve so here this is how I become a Sogang student.

General Admission Process
Online application (through website Jinhak - refer to the guideline on OIA) ➡️ Submission of original documents (by registered post, direct visit) ➡️ Acceptance announcement ➡️ Payment of tuition (Deposit) ➡️ Submission of Financial Certificate Documents ➡️Issuance of the “Certificate of Admission’ for visa ➡️ Application of Visa
