- Join the Creative Crew: Discover UIC SAM at Yonsei University!
If you’re looking to make the most of your time at Yonsei University while sharpening your creative skills, look no further than the Underwood International College Student Ambassadors Club (UIC SAM).
What is UIC SAM all about?
UIC SAM is a student-led group with a mission to connect international and local students through creative activities and student life engagement. The club has three exciting divisions—Journalism, Photography + Graphic Design, and Videography—offering something for everyone. Whether you love writing, creating visuals, or editing videos, UIC SAM gives you the chance to do it all while earning a certificate of recognition after three semesters.
The best part? All activities are conducted in English, making it an ideal space for international students to get involved and feel right at home. Members create engaging content like Instagram reels, where they showcase Yonsei’s diverse clubs, introduce professors, highlight campus hangout spots, and cover interesting student stories.
My experience with UIC SAM
I joined UIC SAM as a wide-eyed freshman in fall 2021, starting as a writer and quickly moving up to the position of journalist. By 2023, I ran for the club elections and was thrilled to be elected as president. Over two semesters, I led the club, helped run projects, and spearheaded our Journalism division. One of the highlights of my role was managing UIC SAM’s official Instagram page, where we created trendy reels and fun posts introducing all the cool things happening at Yonsei.
