About Korea National University of Transportation
Founded in 1905, the Korea National University of Transportation is a public university located in Chungju, North Chungcheong. The university began as Chungjju University, which was then integrated with the Korea National University of Railway and Cheongju Science College in 2012 to become the current university. It is the country’s only university specializing in transportation. The school has three campuses: One in Chungju, one in Jungpyeong County, North Chungcheong and one in Uiwang in Gyeonggi. The university offers four major specialized fields: Transportation information, smart aviation, future railroad and health for the transportation vulnerable.
