The Global Student Association (GSA) at HUFS is here to make your life easier, connect you with amazing people, and help you feel at home. In this review, I’ll introduce what GSA is all about and how it can make your HUFS experience even better. Let’s dive in! 🌍✨
What is the Global Student Association?
GSA is a student council for Regular International Undergraduate Students of HUFS Seoul Campus!
It aims to help Regular International Students enjoy campus life by organizing various events and activities!
In GSA,
All the sessions are conducted in English and both International and Korean students are welcome.
Make new friends from diverse background and ethnicity!
Experience working in a student council environment; plan activities for int'l students.
GSA is made out of THREE teams
1- Finance Team ⮕ Manages a budget to finance events
2- Organizing Team ⮕ Plans& organizes the events
3-PR Team ⮕ Publicize the events through Instagram and posters around the campus ( TMI* I have been the member of this team for 2 semesters 😊)
What do we do in GSA?
GSA has basically various of events and programs to make international students life easier and more enjoyable in Korea!
Firstly I would like to introduce GLEE (Gather,Laugh,Exchange,Enjoy) which is a signature culture exchange program in GSA opened to International&Korean students.
Goal of the GLEE is that encouraging interactions between Korean and regular international students at HUFS.
Benefits of the GLEE is that making new friends from different backgrounds. Experience various activities around Seoul. Have a field trip with other teams and all this activities are FUNDED by GSA!
Isn't it amazing to save money and experience many things as a student?
Requirements of the GLEE is that meeting at least 3 times with your designated group, doing 5 out of 9 activities from the activity board and lastly participating in the Orientation!

Another fun event GSA is holding every semester is FUNFAIRS!
Funfairs where students enjoy a fun time out doing various activities like Ice skating, Aquarium visit, Painting cafe dates or Movie night and more!
This is my favorite Funfair event GSA held in 2024-2 semester!
This movie night was absolutely so spooky and fun thanks to the atmosphere GSA created!
