About Chungbuk National University
Chungbuk National University was founded in 1951 and is one of Korea's 10 flagship national universities. The university has its main campus in Seowon District in Cheongju, North Chungcheong, and holds most of the classes there. The university also has four other campuses. One is located around a one-hour bus ride away from the main campus, located in Heungdeok District, Cheongju, and has classes for its College of Pharmacy. The Ochang Campus in Cheongwon District, Cheongju, is home to the university's Convergence Technology Center. The center has a test driving center for autonomous cars, and Chungbuk National University is the only university in Korea to have such a facility. The university has another campus in Sejong, which has classes for its College of Veterinary Medicine.
