About University of Ulsan
The University of Ulsan, originally founded as the Ulsan Institute of Technology in 1970, was promoted to a full-fledged university in 1985. The university is home to over 15,000 students and has 11 colleges. Its college of humanities has a department of Korean Language and Literature for International Students, where you can learn and explore Korean literature and linguistics. The university is located in Ulsan, approximately 300 kilometers south of Seoul. The city is located in the southeast corner of Korea, has a population of about 1.1 million and is famous for having the world’s largest automobile plant. Trips to the university from Seoul take about two hours by KTX and slightly over four hours by express bus.
