About Woosong University
Woosong University, founded in 1995, is located in Daejeon, the fifth largest city in Korea with a population of approximately 1.5 million. The city has been promoting itself as Korea’s research and development hub and is also home to Korea’s top science and technology institute, the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST).
Trips to Seoul from the university take about an hour and 30 minutes by bullet train. Regular trains and buses are also an option but take longer.
According to the university, it runs three international schools — SolBridge International School of Business, Endicott College of International Studies and the JW Kim College of Future Studies — where all classes are conducted in English.
