Life at university offers a variety of chances for both personal and academic development. Participating in Culture Day events, joining groups, and interacting with social media networks have all improved my time at SolBridge Internatonal Business School. Every moment  has contributed to my understanding of different cultures and overall my college experience.

1. Exploring Clubs at SolBridge

SolBridge Business School offers a variety of 20 clubs related to different to various interests, from sports to the arts. Here’s a brief info what you can do in these clubs:

  • Debate Club: Engaging in debates will sharpen your  public speaking and critical thinking skills. Participating in discussions on diverse topics will help you  build confidence and articulate my thoughts more effectively.
  • Football Club: The football club will be  more than just a game; it will be  an opportunity to collaborate with others and work as a team. It will also offer you a chance to engage in friendly competitions with other departments.
  • Music and Dance Clubs: These clubs will allow you to explore your  creative side. From performing on stage to collaborating on artistic projects, you will discover new talents and express yourself in unique ways.
  • Public Speaking Club: There are several clubs to improve your presentation skills. Through practice and feedback, you will  learn how to present ideas clearly and engage with an audience effectively.
  • Badminton Club: Joining this badminton club will be a fantastic way to stay active and sporty. The regular matches and tournaments will  provide not just a physical challenge but also a chance to bond with fellow students. Last semester I had a chance to win a competition and receive a small prize from school.

Networking and Learning: Participating in these clubs was not only about pursuing hobbies but also about building a network of friends and professional connections. Each club experience taught me valuable life skills, from teamwork and leadership to creativity and time management.

Tip for Finding Clubs: To find clubs at your university, start by checking the university’s official website. Most universities have a section dedicated to student organizations, which provides information on available clubs, their activities, and how to join. Additionally, attending club fairs or orientation events can help you discover what interests you. Club Expo’s in Solbridge are usually held on the 2nd week of the semester.
