Hello, everyone! I hope you’re all having an amazing start to the new semester. Today, I want to share my experience of skiing for the first time in my life—and in Korea!

Winning the Ski Trip Giveaway 🎉

Thanks to the K-Campus team, I won tickets through Eat Study Love, which covered:✅ PHOENIX Pyeongchang lift ticket (6 hours)✅ Snow Village sledding pass

Getting There & Preparation

We took a shuttle bus at 6 AM from Gangnam Station, and the ride took about 2.5 hours. Upon arrival, I headed straight to the rental shop to get my ski suit, equipment, and helmet.

💡 Pro Tip: Buy your ski gloves in advance from Coupang (around 10,000 KRW). It’s much cheaper than renting, and you can use them for years!

Skiing Experience – From Scary to Fun

At first, skiing felt really uncomfortable—especially walking in the gear. Unfortunately, we made a huge mistake by heading straight to the professional slope. I quickly realized it was too steep and had to fall to stop myself. 😨

After that, we moved to the beginner slope, where I finally learned the pizza technique and started skiing properly.

Snow Village & Weather Warning 🌨️

The Snow Village sledding area was quite small, so we only rode twice before heavy snow started. Be careful when booking your tickets, as refunds are not available if the weather changes.
