I applied to Kongju National University (KNU) through the GKS Undergraduate Program, which is a fully funded scholarship by the Korean government.

- Checking the GKS Undergraduate Guidelines : The first thing I did was visit the Study in Korea website (studyinkorea.go.kr) and download the latest GKS Undergraduate Guidelines. This document is crucial because it explains eligibility, application tracks, required documents, and deadlines.
- Finding the Right University: Since GKS offers a list of participating universities each year, I downloaded the ZIP file containing university choices and checked which universities matched my study goals. Once I identified Kongju National University as my target, I visited their official website (KNU English website) to gather more details about the programs they offer.


3. Understanding University-Specific Requirements: Since I applied through the university track, I focused on both the GKS guidelines and my department’s requirements. Each university may have different document or process requirements, so checking directly with the university is essential. You can search “Kongju International Office website” or visit Kongju OIA.
