- All you need to know about Woojungwon dormitory in Kyung Hee University (Global Campus)
Living on campus is an interesting, and meaningful experience for many students. It is where friendships are forged, late-night study sessions happen, and memories are made. But choosing the right place to live can be a difficult task.
In this article, I’ll explain everything you need to know about university dormitories, sharing everything from amenities to application processes and my experience.
1. Location and rules
One of the advantages of a dormitory is its location. It is conveniently situated near academic buildings and offers easy access to public transportation. At Kyung Hee University Global Campus, the dormitories are near the campus entrance, and just near, several buses take you to the other bus stops on the campus and some direct buses go to Seoul. The thing I liked about Woojungwon, it was open 24h/24h with no curfew, and was only 10mn from my room to the Korean classroom. However, there are a lot of rules to follow, such as not eating in the room or bringing alcohol inside the dormitory, and forbidden to outsiders, so if you want to live freely, it may not be the perfect place. Another point that I liked, even though it was open 24h/24h, the entrance was secured with a password and vein scan.

2. Comfort and Facilities
A comfortable living space is essential for academic success and overall well-being. Woojungwon dormitory has everything you need. The facilities in the dormitory included spacious study lounges, kitchens, laundry facilities, and high-speed internet access.
For any problem, there is an office with staff members to address maintenance issues, ensuring you can focus on your studies. In the same building, you will find everything you need such as another laundry room, coffee shop, convenience store, bookstore and university store, Hana bank, and post office.
