Korea’s national postal service, Korea Post , offers door-to-door pickup service that allows you to schedule a pickup from the comfort of your home.

How to Register

-     Go to Korea Post's website or download its application

- Make an account to use the service.

- Type in the address of the recipient.

- Enter parcel details, such as the type, weight and total length of the parcel

- Choose the date you wish to have your item picked up.

- You can register online at any time of the day, though pickup times may vary. You can also call the postal service at 1588-1300 to make a registration.

Parcel Size and Weight Requirements

-     Minimum: Over 5 kilograms, with a combined length, width and height exceeding 80 centimeters.

-     Maximum: Up to 30 kg, with a combined length, width and height not exceeding 160 centimeters.

Payment Options

-     You can choose to pay in advance, on delivery or directy to the delivery person.

- The parcel cost varies depending on its type and weight and total length of a box, but it starts with around 5,000 won for parcels unders 5 kilograms.
