Getting a Visa to South Korea from African countries can be challenging, but one of the easiest routes is through the Language Study Route, specifically the D4 Visa.
This Visa can later be changed to a D2 Visa during your language year or a Work Visa after completing your language studies, and you can also work with a D4 Visa six months after entering Korea.
Here are the basic requirements you need to apply for a D4 Visa from Africa, with a focus on Nigeria:
**Admission:**
You must gain admission to a language school institute, either a university or a registered language school. You'll need an Admission letter, Proof of School fees payment, and a Business Registration Certificate to apply for your Visa.
D4 Visa Application Requirements :
- Valid passport (must be valid for more than six months at the time of application submission).
- Copy of the biographic data page of the applicant's passport.
- Completed visa application form.
- One passport photo (size 2" x 2", color) attached to the form.
- Documents proving financial ability (e.g., personal bank statement, credit card, car registration).
- Confirmed flight booking and hotel reservation.
- Photocopy of National ID card, Driver's license, or Voter's card (issued within the last five years).
- Copy of certificate of business registration from Korean institution, company, etc.

- Letter of invitation from the institution, company, etc. (Original and notarized).
