Although studying in cafés is popular among university students in Korea, I highly recommend taking advantage of our university facilities, especially the library during exam period. Campus study spots are more conducive to focus and come at a lower cost, with the added benefit of being open 24 hours.

Why choose the library or campus study spots?

Your tuition fees already cover these comfortable, well-equipped study spaces, complete with Wi-Fi. Plus, being surrounded by other students who are also focused on their studies can help boost your motivation and concentration.

But when exam season approaches, the library fills up quickly, and it can be tough to secure a seat if you're not familiar with the booking process.

⏰ During exam periods, the HUFS library operates on an extended schedule, which is different from the regular hours. You can check these updates on the official HUFS website or Instagram. Here’s the schedule for the 2024-2 semester:

1) Reading Rooms 1-5: Open 24 hours.

2) Material Room, Smart Plaza, & HYU Place: Closed on Sundays. Open until 21:00 on weekdays and until 17:00 on Saturdays.

3) Library Lobby: Open until 21:00 on weekdays and 17:00 on weekends.

< Additional Tip: Device Usage Rules in Reading Rooms >

👩🏻‍💻Laptops can be used only in Reading Rooms 1 and 4, but make sure to use silent mouse and keyboard to maintain a quiet environment. In Reading Rooms 2, 3, and 5, only tablets (like iPads) are permitted.
