Kn-Us, founded in 2019, is a startup that specializes in developing and manufacturing wireless and space security software and devices. It makes a portable, always-on eavesdropping detection system called SPYOUT-2. It also developed a recording prevention device and is exporting the technology overseas.&nbsp;&nbsp;

The security software market has a high entry barrier, with only two companies in Korea, including Kn-Us, developing and selling eavesdropping detection devices.&nbsp;&nbsp;

As there is growing demand for security products in the Middle East, ASEAN, Europe and United States it is expanding its target markets by actively taking part in overseas exhibitions and sales meetings.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Recently, it completed the first round of the Pre-A funding round.

Currently, it has an eight-member team, but by next year it plans to expand to more than 10 staff.

It seeks to create a safer world with the devices and security systems it develops. It will continue to upgrade its security software and devices in response to fast-developing smart devices in the market including illegal spy cameras.&nbsp;&nbsp;

With Dentlink, it has enabled Korean laboratories to effectively export prosthetics like crowns to dental clinics in the United States, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and Britain.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Dental clinics can send scanned data of patients’ teeth and the connected laboratories can produce quality prosthetics like crowns, bridges and implants.&nbsp;&nbsp;

It is at the forefront of digital dentistry at a time when cross-border orders for prosthetics have become possible thanks to the digital scanning of patients’ teeth.&nbsp;&nbsp;

It hopes to use digital technology to support Korean dental laboratories export quality prosthetics overseas. With its digital dentistry domain and a dedicated IT team, it can help Korean laboratories overcome long delivery distances, language barriers, time differences and payment issues when exporting their products.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Its headquarters is located in Gwangju, and the production plant is in Jangseong County, South Jeolla.

The XR revolution is on the horizon, with social media poised to transition into XR environments.

Using its self-developed Adler engine, it created Adler, a 3D social media platform accessible via PC, mobile and VR devices. Adler aims to become the 3D Instagram of the future.

Users can effortlessly create their own 3D space — called Atoms — and share it with others in just three taps. Over 1,000 Atoms have been created on Adler, with artists from Ethiopia, Russia and Bangladesh actively participating on its platform.

Recognized for its potential, it has secured over 5 billion won ($3.7 million) in investments from retail investors and venture capitalists, including Kakao Investment and Korea Investment Partners, leading up to its bridge round. It is planning an IPO in 2028, targeting a market valuation of 1 trillion won.

Adler's founder, Yurica, transitioned at 26, finding her true self only in 3D games. Realizing that virtual reality provides a platform for individuals to embrace their authentic selves, she established Adler. The company’s name is inspired by the book Courage to Be Disliked, based on the theories of psychologist Alfred Adler.

Within the global 3D engine market, Adler focuses on lightweight engines. The market was valued at $3.4 billion in 2022 and is projected to grow to $8.4 billion by 2028. With the anticipated release of Apple Vision Pro in February 2024, the 3D market is expected to expand significantly.

While the 3D engine market is currently dominated by companies like Unity and Unreal, which offer heavy and slow engines primarily for simulations, Adler aims to carve out a niche for lightweight engines. It js developing a business model to sell its self-made engine, which it expects will positively impact the growing 3D engine market.

The Adler 3D engine sets itself apart from existing engines used in the metaverse. It enables users to experience extended reality in their daily lives via mobile, PC and smart devices through a web interface, without the need for additional devices or special connections. All of this is powered by our Adler 3D engine, built on the Adler XRML markup language. The Adler engine loads faster than competing services and does not require users to download additional applications.
