- The state-of-the-art facilities in Korean universities
Korean universities are well known for their quality of education. However, to my surprise, I was amazed by the facilities and infrastructure that universities offer for both local and international students, and most of these facilities can be used free of cost. From advanced research labs to world-class sports facilities, Korean universities provide a wide range of resources that enable students to excel academically and personally. In this article, I want to explore some of the interesting and unique campus facilities of Korean universities.
High-tech libraries
Korean universities boast some of the most advanced libraries in the world. For example SKKU Samsung library in SKKU Suwon campus. The library spans six floors and covers an area of approximately 17,000 square meters, making it one of the largest academic libraries in South Korea.
One of the unique features of the SKKU Samsung Library is its Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS), which uses robotics to store and retrieve books and other materials. This system allows for efficient use of space and provides users with quick and easy access to materials.
The library also has a range of specialized collections, including the Samsung Collection, which features books and materials related to Samsung's history and business practices, and the SKKU Special Collection, which includes rare and valuable books and manuscripts.

Sports Facilities
Korean universities provide students with a wide range of sports facilities that cater to their interests and needs. These facilities promote a healthy lifestyle and provide opportunities for students to engage in sports and physical activities.
For example, the Seoul National University Gymnasium is a world-class facility that hosts international sporting events, including the Asian Games. The gymnasium features an Olympic-sized swimming pool, a weightlifting room, and basketball and volleyball courts

Science and Technology Centers
When it comes to science and technology, many universities in Korea have the world's best research facilities and are known for their cutting-edge modern equipment and tools.
