- Going Back Home to Cambodia during the Summer Break: Flight Tickets and Tips
“There is no place like home” – it’s our sanctuary and source of motivation. As the semester ends, many international students, also me, really looking forward to visiting home. So, if you are a Cambodian student planning a trip back home during this summer vacation, here are some tips I would like to suggest.
When and Where to Buy Tickets
First, I recommend starting to hunt for the price around a month beforehand. It’s not necessary to purchase right away; keep checking and keep an eye on the best price. You can purchase it 2 or 3 weeks before departure.
One of the safe and cheap airlines to go to Cambodia I would recommend SKY ANGKOR airline.
And this is how the website looks like when you purchase the tickets.

Usually, a direct route from South Korea to Cambodia costs around 300k to 400k (Round trip)
And of course, this time I will return home via a direct route, which will take around 5 hours. The flight attendants are Cambodian, making it easy for us to communicate. The flight usually departs at 11 AM and arrives in Cambodia around 4 PM, which I believe is good timing.
