Hi Kcampers! I'm Milenka from Sogang University. These days, the temperature and rainfall have been on the rise due to summer. For that reason, today I'm bringing you a super interesting article on how to have an incredible summer in Korea. Here you'll find unique and lesser-known tips to make your summer an unforgettable experience.

1. Explore Lesser-Known Beaches

When we think of Korean beaches, Haeundae in Busan or the beaches of Jeju come to mind. However, Korea has many lesser-known beaches that are equally stunning and less crowded. Jukdo Beach in Uljin and Muchangpo Beach in Boryeong are two perfect examples where you can enjoy the sun and sea without the large crowds.

2. Join the Boryeong Mud Festival

The Boryeong Mud Festival is one of the most fun summer events in Korea. It's a unique opportunity to cover yourself in mud, participate in various activities like mud races, slides, and beauty treatments. Additionally, the mud from Boryeong is known for its beneficial properties for the skin.

3. Visit the Waterbomb Festival

The Waterbomb Festival is one of the most exciting summer events in Korea. It's a mix of water park and music festival where you can enjoy concerts while having fun with water games. It's the perfect way to cool off and enjoy live music. Don't forget to bring extra clothes and plenty of sunscreen!

4. Hide Out in Themed Cafes on Rainy Days

In summer, rains can be frequent and heavy. Instead of staying home, take advantage of the opportunity to visit some of Korea's amazing themed cafes. From Thanks Nature Café in Hongdae, where you can interact with sheep, to the Zap Café in Itaewon, there are plenty of options to enjoy a rainy day with a good cup of coffee and a unique experience.

5. Discover Underground Cafes and Museums
