- “Unlocking HUFS: a Senior’s Guide to Key Campus Spots”
As a transfer student who joined HUFS in the autumn semester, I felt like I was a bit behind compared to other students who had already finished their first semester. Even though I could speak Korean, I was nervous to ask for help, especially since I didn’t know any seniors in campus. This experience showed me that while orientation was helpful, it missed some important details that could make things easier for new students. Here are a few tips and facilities I discovered that might help other international students settle in.

One of the first things I struggled with was the class attendance QR code system. At orientation, they explained how to use the mobile student ID to enter the library, but they didn’t tell us how to register for daily class attendance. HUFS has a mobile app that makes this easy.
You can use the app
- to check in for your classes,
- see your GPA for each semester,
- and even check what’s on the menu at the cafeteria each day
so you can decide if your favorite food is available today or not.
