- How I Got Accepted to Chung-Ang University: A Guide to Acceptance
안녕하세요, future K-campus students! I’m a Computer Science & Engineering student at Chung-Ang University
1️⃣ Language – The First & Foremost Requirement
The biggest requirement for international students is Korean proficiency. There are two ways to meet this requirement: ✅ TOPIK Level 4 or above (some majors may require Level 5 or 6) ✅ Korean Language Program Completion (at least Level 5) – If you don’t have TOPIK, you can first enroll in a Korean language program in Korea and complete at least Level 5 to qualify for admission. Without Korean proficiency, it’s nearly impossible to study in Korea, so start preparing early!
2️⃣ Understanding the Application Guidelines
Reading the admission guidelines once is NOT enough! Trust me, you need to: 📌 Read the official university guidelines DAILY. 📌 Mark all deadlines—Korean universities are strict with submission dates. 📌 Double-check eligibility criteria (some programs have additional requirements). Many students miss out just because they misunderstand a deadline or requirement. Don’t be one of them!
3️⃣ Documents – The Most Confusing Part
I noticed that many Indian students (and students from other countries) struggle with documentation. Here’s what worked for me: 📍 Transcripts – Submit 10th, 11th, and 12th-grade mark sheets. 📍 Graduation Certificate – If you’re asked for this, submit your 12th-grade mark sheet again. 📍 Migration Certificate – The most important document in my case was the Apostilled Migration Certificate. Make sure to get this done—without it, your application may be rejected! Always prepare your documents early and check if your country requires additional verification.
